Abigail (TGIP) guest posts!

In this post one of my favorite bloggers Abigail Ogden (we have the same name!) from The Girl In Pink will be guest posting and I could not be more excited! Here’s what Abby wrote…

Hello to everyone following Abby of BelleOfTheBall45! I’m Abigail from The Girl In Pink. Abby and myself have been planning this guest post since before Christmas! Now that it’s finally time for the post you can imagine our excitement. I am very thankful for the opportunity to be guest posting on Abby’s blog!
I take a lot of #OOTD pictures for my blog and here is the outfit I put together for Abby’s blog! The winter here in the South is nothing like it is in the North. The lowest it’s been all season was today, and today is a low of 40. Most days I get away with wearing legging, riding boots, and a sweater. My winter essentials consist of…
      1. Leggings // Leggings are so super casual and comfortable and they are just thick enough to keep you warm without getting overheated when you’re inside!
      2. Sweaters // My favorite go to sweater is J. Crew Factory’s Merino Charley! They come in so many colors and are the perfect fit. Plus you can add a small monogram J
      3. Scarves // My everyday outfits down here consist of leggings, a sweater and a bright scarf for the perfect accessory! The best thing about them is when you get warm you just take it off. When you’re inside a building in the south and it’s about 50 degrees out the heat is turned way up! (Apparently 50 is cold here…)
      4. Riding boots // When living on an island you don’t need incredibly warm shoes so just a simple pair of riding boots with a thin pair of socks is perfect! Like I said, they’re an everyday a necessity.
Just make sure if you live in the North don’t take this advice! You’ll probably freeze! Check out Abby’s guest post on my blog for facing winter weather in the North. Hope y’all’s 2014 is off to a great start!
