Tassel Garland Tutorial

Her everyone! Today I’m showing you how to make this super cute tassel garland. Making this tassel garland is so inexpensive and it the perfect way to decorate your workspace, for a party, in your room, or wherever needs an extra something. I went to my local dollar store and they had a pack of tissue paper that came with 100 sheets of pastel colors. I can’t wait to make more!

Enjoy!

Here’s what you’ll need
1. Tissue paper
2. Scissors
3. Tape
4. Some type of string, I used twine.

Fold one sheet of tissue paper in half.

Fold the paper in half again.

Open the sheet of tissue paper, and then cut it in half on the crease you formed.

Lay the two pieces of tissue paper on top of each other.

Cut the paper as pictured, be sure to leave at least an inch at the top.

Separate the two pieces of tissue paper, open them up they should look like this.

Gather the middle.

Twist the center until its long enough to form a loop.

Tape the loop together. Once you have made enough to form your garland, string them on your twine (or other type of string).

TA DA!

Thanks for reading! I would love to see how yours turned out. Post a picture on instagram and tag @belleoftheball45 so I can see 🙂
