NYC Recap & Outfit Details
Hi everyone! This past weekend I traveled to NYC and had the best time. It was my first trip to the city that I really got a good feel of what it would be like to live there, and after this weekend I can definitely see myself moving there. My brother and I both have some friends in the city, so we decided to take the trip together. It was also great to spend some time with him!

Thursday our flight landed pretty early, so we still had a full day in the city. Our first stop was Shake Shack- my brother has never had it and I love their burgers. After Shake Shack, I checked into my hotel, The Merrion Row. I will be doing a separate post all about my stay, it was so great there! When I was settled in we headed to MOMA and did some shopping in Soho. By that time, our friends were finished with work for the day, so my brother and I met up with them. My friend Abby (@abigailaogden, who recently moved to the city, stayed with me for a few nights. We had the best dinner at the hotel, and got some rest for an exciting day on Friday.

Friday started out breakfast at the Public House (the restaurant in my hotel), and then a meeting at the Brooks Brothers Flagship Store! The store is incredible, and has the cutest café inside. I also was able to check out some of the new arrivals to their Red Fleece collection, and try a few pieces on I had been eyeing. I went home with this stunning tweed jacket that couldn’t be cuter! After that, I headed to the Lilla P showroom and met up with my gal pal Viv (@vivianeaudi) there. We had so much fun getting custom lipstick colors made by @shespokemakeup, and checking out the Lilla P (@lillap) collection. There are SO many great spring / summer pieces in the collection! After that Viv, Abby, and I walked around Washington Square Park and the West Village. Later that evening, we met up with my brother and friends for an evening at The Campbell (@thecampbellbar). It was such a fun night!
I’ve been searching for the perfect nude lip- so fun making a custom color at the Lilla P event!

Afternoon tea at Ralph’s Coffee was a dream! Loved being able to see their Spring collection.
Couldn’t leave without having a New York slice!
