Hi everyone! Since I’m away at school for most of the year, I don’t often talk about my hometown on the blog. I’ve lived in Buffalo, NY my whole life and thought it would be fun to round up my favorites in the city. S h o p p i n g

In recent years the shopping in Buffalo has gotten SO much better. There have been so many great local stores popping up. Here are some of my favorite places to shop, some of them have online stores as well if you want to check them out. 

One of my favorite stores! The owners are the absolute sweetest and I love their selection. They have a mix of home and clothing items. Recently they started carrying Vineyard Vines, and carry other great brands like Joules, Tretorn, and more. Not only do they have great brand names, but also adorable items at a great price point as well. Also if you have kids, they just opened their kid’s store Main & Downing. It’s too cute and has the best brands for your little ones. 

Our mall has gotten so great within the past few years. We recently got a Zara which is amazing. A few of my other favorite stores to shop at are J Crew, Anthropologie, Aerie, and Lord and Taylor.

 Tony Walker & Co. (Williamsville)

There are a lot of great brands at Tony Walker such as Tory Burch, Gucci Jewelry, Carolina Clothing Company, and Longchamp.

Niagara Falls Outlet (Niagara Falls) 

The outlet mall is about a 30-minute drive from the city, but totally worth it! They have stores like J. Crew Factory, Ralph Lauren, Kate Spade, Barbour, and so much more. I always score so many deals when I shop there!

Oxford Pennant (Downtown / Canalside) 

They make the cutest pennants and have so many unique pieces!

BFLO  (Galleria Mall / Downtown) 

The BFLO Store has so many fun Buffalo items! They also carry a lot of Vineyard Vines Buffalo pieces which are too cute.

The Cobblestone Suits (Village of Hamburg) 

So many cute boutiques are always popping up here- I love Indie Twenty and T. Boutique.

The Grange Community Kitchen (Village of Hamburg) 

The Grange has been one of my favorites since it opened! Not only do they have a great dinner menu, but I also love their brunch and custom cakes as well. They’re also opening a restaurant in Ellicottville, NY in the fall- can’t wait to try it! 

 Prima Cafe (Village of Hamburg)

I love Prima Cafe! They have so many delicious, yet healthy options. 

 Deep South Taco (Downtown) 

I love the atmosphere here- and who doesn’t love Mexican food.

Barbill Tavern (East Aroura)

Some of the best wings in Buffalo! Also located in an adorable town.

Connors Hot Dog Stand (Angola, NY) 

I’ve worked at Connors for the past few years and LOVE their food. They have a location near Evans Town Park and another at the Sturgeon Point Marina. Great place to eat in the summer- make sure you get fries!

Root and Bloom (Downtown) 

Such a cute vegan restaurant!  



Chefs (Downtown) 

Great Italian food!

Coles (Downtown)

The perfect spot to get a classic Buffalo beef on weck! 

Lloyds (Downtown)

I love the tacos here, also it’s next to Churn which has amazing ice cream.

Kunis (Downtown)

The best sushi!

Lombardos (Downtown) 

Another great Italian restaurant!

Allen Burger Venture (Downtown) 

Great burgers and a fun spot to be in the city!

Jims Steakout (Downtown) 

My favorite place to get a chicken finger sub and a loganberry- SO good. 

The Terrace at Delaware Park 

Such a great place for date night! Clost to the museum and right next to Delaware Park!

Fresh Catch Poke 

I’ve been loving Poke bowls lately- this place is a go-to if you’re craving one!

Delaware Park 

Not only is Delaware park a great place to grab dinner and walk around, but its a great spot for photos. In the summer there are rowboats on Hoyt Lake, beautiful blooms in the garden, and a short walk from both the art and history museum.

Knox Farm

In any season Knox is a stunning place for photos. All of the barns, historic homes, and greenery across the property make it a wonderful spot for a walk and perfect for photos as well.

Green Lake

This is such a beautiful park in the summer. The park makes a great spot for photos. It’s also perfect for a picnic or to bring some kayaks and paddle around the lake!

Evangola State Park 

Theres a lot of variety for photos here! I love the covered bridge, gazebo, and beautiful greenery.

The Tift Nature Preserve

Has a great bike trail, and also such a beautiful nature preserve. Great spot for photos and close to Canalside!

Albright Knox Art Gallery

The Art Gallery is a great spot with a beautiful collection of artwork. They also have M&T First Fridays so the first Friday of every month is free admission!

Outer Harbor

I love living near the water, and the Outer Harbor is a great spot!

Canalside

Canalside has become so fun within the past few years! There is always something going on and new stores popping up. It’s also great in the winter since they have an ice skating rink. In the summer there’s also a spot to rent paddle boards and kayaks!

Riverworks

There’s zip-lining, food, and always something fun going on at Riverworks!

Flower Picking in Springville 

A little bit of a drive, but totally worth it! The most beautiful you-pick flower farm. Check out their Instagram for more details about picking times. @theflowerstand716

Sporting Events (Bills, Bisons, and Sabres)

Sporting events are always so fun, especially Bills games!

White Orchard Day Spa (Orcahrd Park, NY)

Treat yourself to a mani pedi, facial, and more! The cutest spa that uses farm fresh products made in the US!

Botanical Gardens (Lakawana, NY) 

Such a pretty place full of so many beautiful plants!

Niagara Falls

Just a short trip from Buffalo, definitely worth the trip! I would reccommend going to the Canadian side!

Food Truck Tuesday

 I always look forward to Tuesday’s in the summer, Food Truck Tuesday is always a fun night full of good food and music.

BPO

I haven’t been to the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra in years, but I have been dying to go! It’s always such an amazing performance.

Day Trip To Ellicottville

Ellicottville is the cutest ski town, and is also so fun in the summer! Holiday Valley is so beautiful and there are so many cute shops and restaurants. I try to plan a trip to Ellicottville once a year. This year I’m heading there for fall fest with some of my friends and I can’t wait!

I’ve been going to RISE a lot this summer and have been loving it. Yoga and spin are two of my favorite workouts!

Judy that owns Garage is the best, and always keeps her classes fun! 

Level Red Boxing 

I go boxing at school a lot since it’s close to my house, but I love Level Red in Buffalo as well! I wish it was closer to me so I could go more. 

Central Rock Buffalo 

I’ve always wanted to go rock climbing and I recently found this spot! I definitely will be trying it out soon.
