Hi everyone! When I received the J. McLaughlin fall catalog there were so many stunning pieces that I knew I needed to add to my fall wardrobe. J. McLaughlin always has beautiful collections full of stylish staples that will last a lifetime.
During my recent fall road trip I found myself reaching for my J.Mclauglin staples constantly- especially their new Arlette turtleneck. This turtleneck is adorable as a stand alone piece and is also perfect for layering. It comes in so many colors too!
Sharing a few of my favorite fall looks in today’s post, enjoy!

I’m always looking for outfits that are comfortable for travel without looking sloppy, and I absolutely love this head to toe look from J. McLaughlin. This black activewear set has quickly become a staple for me. It is so well made- I even hiked to the Madison Spring hut in these leggings! I love how many pockets the set has too so I can always make sure I have my essentials on me.

I used to think that being 5’2 I was too short for a midi skirt to be flattering, but then I found some adorable silk options that have become some of my favorite skirts in my wardrobe. This floral print from J. McLaughlin has an amazing color way and can be worn so many ways. While we walked around Beacon Hill in Boston, I opted for a more casual look pairing the skirt with suede sneakers and a neutral top. It can easily be dressed up with some heels for dinner too which is great.

As some of you may know, I am in currently working on my masters in teaching and hope to be getting a full time teaching job next year. Since I started school, I’ve been working on adding some more work appropriate things into my wardrobe that can also be incorporated for daily wear. I love this leopard cardigan and simple flats and think they would be great pieces when I begin in the classroom.
