I’ve had a classic style since a young age and one of my favorite parts about this is all of the timeless pieces I have collected over the years. While I was studying fashion merchandising for my undergraduate degree we constantly talked about CPW (cost per wear) and how important it is to invest in pieces that can be a staple in your wardrobe and be worn for more than just a trend cycle. In the long run, purchasing a quality item with a higher price point will end up being the most cost-effective option due to the number of times you’ll be able to wear the piece. As soon as I saw this plaid jacket I knew I had to have it! It is great for layering and the pop of neon paired with navy and green is such a fun twist on classic plaid. I styled it with the coziest cashmere turtleneck, a pair of jeans, a fair isle beanie, and these adorable blackwatch plaid boots. Living in Buffalo one of my biggest struggles is footwear in the winter, and I am so excited about these boots! They are comfortable and durable, but also so stylish with the fun print and sherpa lining!

My mom and I recently visited a new holiday market in our area and loved walking around shopping the different vendors. I wanted to wear something that was in the holiday spirit but also kept me warm while walking outside! Talbots has the best cashmere and I couldn’t resist this green beanie! I thought it was so cute especially paired with this navy faux fur vest and scalloped sweater. I brought the look together with the blackwatch boots which tied in all of the colors perfectly!
