Cape Ann, MA | Trip Recap & Travel Guide

Hi everyone! I am so thrilled to be fully vaccinated and back to traveling.

A few weeks ago I went to Cape Ann with a few of my favorite brands including Chappy Wrap, Vineyard Vines, and Sperry! The trip was the best way to start summer and I’m so excited to share more in today’s post.  I would highly recommend Cape Ann for a weekend getaway- there is so much to do in this charming fishing town.  It was so relaxing and absolutely beautiful. Here’s what we did while we were there and a bunch of great recommendations to plan the perfect trip.

Where we stayed!

We stayed at the beautiful  Beauport Hotel which was beyond beautiful. I got there a little earlier than everyone else so I had a relaxing lunch on the porch at 1606 Restaurant and Bar. The views and food were incredible! I had my first lobster roll of the summer and it was the perfect way to kick off the trip. The Beauport Hotel has so many incredible accommodations, I can’t wait to go back and check everything off my list! There’s a rooftop pool, bicycles available for guests to explore the area, a beautiful beach (my fav spot for morning coffee), a shuttle to get you around town, the best restaurant and bar, and so much more. They also had the cutest store in the lobby with such great brands. I took a bike ride along the water and it was absolutely beautiful. The entire hotel is impeccably decorated too!

Fun Experiences:

Noelle and Annie at Cru of Two PR always puts together an amazing trip and find so many unique experiences! Here were a few of my favorite things we did while in Cape Ann:
Glass Blowing at Bubble Factory

Have you guys seen Blown Away on Netflix? My brother and I are huge fans of the show so this experience was so exciting for me! It was so hands-on and incredible to see everything they make at Bubble Factory. Everyone working there was so talented and it was so fun being able to create something to take home with us.

Sailing on The Thomas Lannon

It’s always a treat to get out on the water and we lucked out with the perfect weather for a sail with the Sperry team! We had cocktails made with POM Wonderful and Hardshore Gin that were delightful. Jordan from  JorDécor and I both brought our Chappy Wraps and loved using them as it got cooler. We wore the cutest looks from Vineyard Vines and Sperry that were perfect for an evening sail. If you’re looking to book a sail you can find all of the information here  https://schooner.org/!

Cape Ann Museum Tour

I had an early flight so I wasn’t able to spend as much time at the museum as the others but I loved every second I spent there! It was so beautiful and it’s always great to learn more about the history of a town. It was such a quaint museum full of so many treasures- hoping I can go back for a more in depth tour soon!

Places to eat & drink:

Breakfast & Coffee – Castaway Vintage Cafe, Sugar Magnolias, Lone Gull, Cape Ann Coffees, Mom’s Kitchen
Lunch – Stones Pub and Eatery, Great Marsh Brewing Co, Virgilio’s Bakery, Passports

Dinner & Drinks – Tonno, Minglewood Harborside, 1606 Restaurant and Bar, Blue Collar Lobster House, Drift, Seaport Grille

Sharing more about where we ate & drank below!

The first night we had cocktail hour with  Hardshore and dinner with  Hanacure at Tono which was divine. Everything we ate was so delicious and it was so lovely to be dining with new friends!

After Bubble Factory we spent the afternoon at Great Marsh Brewing Co. and it was such a great time! They make delicious and and refreshing seltzers (@spassbev) perfect for a summer day.

After sailing we ate at Miglewood which was adorable! We had the most beautiful table outside and it was the perfect end to the night. They have a lot of sushi and seafood options which were all so fresh and delicious.
Thank you so much to Cru of Two and all of the sponsors for such an incredible trip!
