My Haircare Routine

 Hi everyone! I am always getting asked about my hair care routine and I’m happy to say I finally found products that I absolutely love and make my hair feel so healthy. My hair is pretty thin, so I have a hard time finding products that nourish my hair without weighing it down. In today’s post, I’m sharing my go-to products and if you head over to my Instagram (@belleoftheball45) I shared how I curl my hair as well.

My Haircare Routine:

For shampoo and conditioner, I use Olaplex No. 4 and No. 5. I know these are a higher price point- but in my opinion, it’s definitely worth it. My hair has never felt so healthy and it has such a nice shine to it. I’ve never had a shampoo that lathers as well as this one. After I shower, I use a t-shirt to dry my hair instead of a towel and find it to be more gentle on my hair. Sleeping with a silk pillowcase has also been great for my hair! I’m linking the one I have below. I’ve been more mindful of my haircare routine lately – especially since I’ve been noticing a lot more shedding. To hopefully gain some density back in my hair, I also use The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum. I’ve heard wonderful things and definitely have started to see a difference since I’ve been using it.

My favorite products:

Another thing I’ve switched about my routine is how I brush my hair. I used to brush immediately after I got out of the shower- which is something I try to avoid now. Ideally, I will let my hair dry completely and then run through it with a wide-tooth comb. I found an inexpensive two-pack of combs on Amazon and can’t believe I’ve lived without them for so long! Before my hair is completely dry, I also add a few drops of the Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil which helps keep my ends hydrated.

Hair Accessories:

!function(w,i,d,g,e,t){d.getElementById(i)||(element=d.createElement(t),element.id=i,element.src=”https://widgets.rewardstyle.com”+e,d.body.appendChild(element)),w.hasOwnProperty(g)===!0&&”complete”===d.readyState&&w[g].init()}(window,”shopthepost-script”,document,”__stp”,”/js/shopthepost.js”,”script”)

I tend to wash my hair 2-3 times a week, so dry shampoo is my bestie! I’ve tried SO many throughout the years and finally found one that I love. It’s from the brand Prose and they completely customize it for your hair. Like Olaplex, it is a bit higher of a price point but I bought mine a year ago and am still using it. It is great at absorbing oil and leaves my hair feeling amazing. Normally I will apply it before I do my makeup to give it time to absorb, then I give it a quick blow dry at my roots to add volume. In-between washes I try to not put my hair in too many tight styles because I think that has caused a lot of damage to my hair in the past. I have a few claw clips that I absolutely love- I always toss my hair up in them to get it out of my face!

Hair Appliances:

!function(w,i,d,g,e,t){d.getElementById(i)||(element=d.createElement(t),element.id=i,element.src=”https://widgets.rewardstyle.com”+e,d.body.appendChild(element)),w.hasOwnProperty(g)===!0&&”complete”===d.readyState&&w[g].init()}(window,”shopthepost-script”,document,”__stp”,”/js/shopthepost.js”,”script”)

Everyone’s hair is different, but these products work great for me and I hope this was helpful! Also- be sure to head to my Instagram to check out how I put all of the products to use.
