One of my favorite parts about teaching is having the summer off to travel. It is always such a joy to visit new places or returning to places I love. Skaneateles has quickly become one of our favorite places to visit and shows off no matter the season. Known for its crystal-clear quality, the lake is a gem that instantly sets a relaxing tone. I personally always love staying by the water and find it to be my happy place in the summer. We checked into the Mirbeau Inn & Spa, a French-inspired retreat that blends luxury with comfort. In today’s post I’m sharing snapshots from our recent stay and including how I would spend the perfect weekend in Skaneateles.
