My 2024 Fall Wardrobe Wishlist

I hate to be this person and know it’s still early August *but* I am thrilled about the upcoming fall season, especially with all of the trends that I’ve been admiring! I adore the cool, crisp air, the opportunity for layered fashion, the stunning foliage, and I find myself planning numerous quick getaways during this time of year. In today’s post I’m sharing a few of my favorite fall trends as well as my personal fall 2024 wardrobe wishlist for this year!

COLOR OF THE SEASON: BURGUNDY

Burgundy for fall- groundbreaking! Last fall I think cherry red was the hot color but this year I am seeing a lot of burgundy. In my opinion burgundy has always been the perfect shade for fall. This rich, deep hue perfectly captures the feeling of the season. It’s a hue that seamlessly transitions from day to night, casual to elegant.

BAG CHARMS

This fall, bag charms are making a vibrant comeback, adding a playful and personalized touch to everyday accessories. Whether clipped to a tote or a crossbody, these delightful additions are a must-have for anyone looking to stay on-trend this season. Another thing I love about bag charms is that they can be very functional since you can add AirTags to them to keep track of your item!

LONGCHAMPS ARE BACK

Longchamp bags have always been a classic in my opinion, but I’ve been seeing them everywhere lately. They are one of my favorite designer bags because they are fairly affordable and very durable. I still have my Longchamp bags that I bought in high school and recently bought one of the minis! They are versatile and ideal for fall excursions.

LONGCHAMP CALSSICS:

BALLET FLATS & MARY JANES

We’ve seen ballet flats trending for a few seasons now, but they are definitely still going to be everywhere in the fall. Specifically I’ve been seeing a lot of mesh flats! I bought my first pair of mesh flats last spring and still wear them quite often. I also love a fun metallic and recently have been wearing my gold metallic flat from Dolce Vita on repeat. I’m linking a variety of ballet flats that I love below.

FAVORITE FLATS:

LEOPARD EVERYTHING

Leopard to me has always been a neutral. There are so many ways to incorporate leopard into your fall wardrobe and it’s one of my favorites to patterns to print mix with.  Its timeless appeal is being reinvented in fun silhouettes of statement tops, denim, outerwear, and more. Whether you’re dressing up for a night out or keeping it casual for a day in the city, incorporating leopard print can effortlessly elevate your look.

DENIM ON DENIM

I saw Olympia Gayot wearing denim on denim, so I’m going to wear denim on denim. Olympia is the current Creative Director and Head of Design at J. Crew. She is incredibly stylish and always looks so chic. She often shares how she styles pieces from J. Crew and she’s been sharing a lot of denim on denim lately. Linking all of my top denim picks at a variety of price points below.

SUEDE

Suede is making a stylish comeback as a trendy fabric for fall, capturing the essence of the season with its rich texture and warm hues. Its soft, velvety surface adds a touch of luxury to any outfit, whether it’s a chic jacket, a pair of elegant boots, or a sophisticated handbag. The earthy tones of suede, like deep browns, forest greens, and burnt oranges, perfectly complement the vibrant foliage of autumn, making it a go-to choice for fall fashion. I recently have been wearing my suede Parker Thatch tote on repeat and find it pairs perfectly with so many other prints and textures for fall.
