Savannah has always had such a special charm and my family has loved visiting for years. Lately, it’s usually just been a quick day trip from Hilton Head on our way to catch a flight, but this spring break we decided to end our trip with a few nights in Savannah and I’m so glad we did! It’s the perfect city for a girls getaway, family trip, or as a couple. I told Jax that we will definitely need to make it a point to plan a trip back!
It honestly feels like the city has grown so much in recent years, and it was so fun getting to check out new spots while still making time for some of our longtime favorites. We were there for two nights, which felt like the perfect amount of time, so I wanted to share what I’d call our ideal Savannah weekend itinerary. ALSO we ended up scoring the most beautiful Air B&B that was walking distance to so many of our favorites, so I will share that as well as a few other hotels on my list. In addition to sharing details of our trip, I also shared links to everything I wore during our stay at the end of the post.

As mentioned, we found this gorgeous Air B&B! We loved staying in a historic home and being so close to everything. When we arrived they had snacks and a bottle of wine waiting for us which was such a treat. We also enjoyed the back patio and spending some time outside. They mentioned in the listing that parking can be a bit of a hassle but we lucked out with spots on the street pretty easily.

I am still dreaming about everything we ate in Savannah – from the most delectable fried chicken to a perfect banana latte it really was such a treat! I’m going to start out with the spots we visited on our trip and then share spots that are on my list for a future trip.
Olde Pink House: Be sure to make a reservation well in advance if you plan on dining here! We did not get a reservation, but ended up getting a table in their bar area. I’m definitely glad we went and will definitely be booking a reservation on our next trip! Luckily the menu was the same so we tried a few of their classics like the BLT salad (our favorite dish) and the scored flounder. It was a great dinner to start our trip!
Brochu’s: Oh. My. Gosh. If you visit one spot it has to be Brochu’s. I was so excited to get a last minute reservation and when we got there I realized I had booked for the wrong date – their team was so kind to seat us and I’m so glad they did. It was just my mom and I so we ended up doing the half chicken dinner instead of the whole, but I would highly recommend either. We started off with some bacon oysters and cocktails, for our mains we shared the half chicken, a wedge salad, and of course the biscuits and butter. Everything was out of this world. We also had pie to wrap up the night which was the perfect sweet treat! Bad idea to write this post when I’m hungry lol.

Leopold’s Ice Cream: The line can get pretty long, but a delicious ice cream spot that you can’t miss!
Vinnie Van Go Go’s: This is a spot I vividly remember visiting as a kid and it still has the same charm every time. If you need a quick lunch it’s the perfect spot for a slice. We stopped here on our first day after some shopping and loved having a slice & beer in the sun! It’s an easy spot to dine with kids too.
Saint Bibiana: A stylish coastal Italian spot set inside a historic mansion, known for its house-made pastas, great cocktails!
Common Thread: A creative, upscale restaurant focused on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
Garibaldi: A longtime Savannah favorite offering classic Italian cuisine in a beautiful, historic setting.
Darling Oyster Bar: I’ve been to their Charleston location and loved it! We walked by on our trip and it’s such a great location. Perfect spot for fresh seafood.
Mirabelle: I had a banana latte here that was divine + they had a variety of great breakfast options too! We ended up taking things to go and walking through Forsyth Park but there is space to sit and enjoy too.

Franklin’s: Our first stop on the trip! We needed some fuel after a busy morning and the coffee + vibes at Franklin’s were perfect.

Savannah has so many adorable local shops and I always find so many unique items when I’m here! In addition to local stores, they also have a variety of larger retailers so there really is something for everyone.

Paris Market: A MUST visit – an impeccably curated market with gorgeous artwork, jewelry, unique souvenirs, and even a café if you need a mid-day boost!
Madison & 5th: A designer consignment store filled to the brim with fabulous finds! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly too.

Forsyth Park: One of our favorite places in Savannah is Forsyth Park! It’s 30 acres of beautiful fountains and lush green space. We loved being walking distance from our Air B&B and spent a lot of time enjoying the park – especially since it was such beautiful weather and we’ve been cooped up all winter in Buffalo!
Tybee Island : Only a 30 minute drive from Downtown and great if you are looking to spend some time at the beach! We buzzed here for an afternoon- it would be the perfect spot to bring kids too!
Historic Tours: We didn’t do any tours on our trip, but there are a variety of historic tours during the days and in the evening that would be fun especially if it’s your first time visiting!
SCAD Museum of Art: The Savannah College of Art and Design has a contemporary art museum, featuring work from international artists and serving as a resource for SCAD students and alumni. It’s so fun to see the impact of SCAD throughout the city and this museum is a great spot to visit!
Riverboat Cruises: Another fun option and an easy way to spend time on the water is with a Riverboat Cruise!
Thanks so much for reading, enjoy your travels!
