Happy Monday everyone! My mom and I are heading on a road trip in the morning to St. Michaels, Maryland and couldn’t be more excited. We are staying at the Inn at Perry Cabin which looks like an absolute dream. I’m packing right now and thought I would write a post about my favorite luggage. Every time I travel I am asked questions about my luggage- especially from Away and Mark and Graham. I think investing in a great suitcase is important especially if you travel frequently. These are two great options if you’ve been looking for the perfect suitcase. In tonight’s post I’m sharing an in-depth review of my two favorite suitcases and sharing a couple other travel essentials! Happy traveling.

Mark & Graham

These suitcases couldn’t be cuter! I’ve had mine for years and am constantly getting compliments when I travel. I made a graphic below highlighting a few of my favorite features of the luggage. It is made of a durable polycarbonate, has TSA approved personal lock, it’s very easy to clean, and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. The only drawback of this luggage for me is that I’ve had mine crack a few times. The only time my luggage cracked it was when I checked my bags and I could see them being rough on it from the window of the plane. Personally, I love my check-on bag and have never had any problems with that! They are also great about replacing bags that have any damage to them with their limited lifetime warranty so if you are worried about durability that is definitely a plus!

     

Away has been a game changer for luggage and I can totally see why! Their suitcases are VERY durable, has the option of a USB charger,

Overall, the Mark & Graham and Away suitcases have very similar features. I would say they are both comparable and choosing the perfect fit for you depends on your taste! If you need something very durable I would lean more towards AWAY, but both companies offer a warranty so you’ll have a great suitcase either way.

Having a spacious tote bag with a zipper has always been a travel essential for me. My two favorite brands that I’ve discovered are Barrington Gifts and MZ Wallace. Barrington Bags are a little more structured and have so many pockets. I love that I can personalize their bags and fit everything I need in them! MZ Wallace also makes versatile travel bags that can become very compact if need be. I have numerous styles and colors and use them frequently for travel.

If you haven’t tried packing cubes yet- what are you waiting for!! I am obsessed and will never travel without them. I am way more organized and can fit so much more in my suitcase. I also love being able to separate my dirty and clean clothes so laundry is much easier when I return home.

Nothing is worse than arriving to your destination with tangled jewelry. I’d much rather spend my vacation with a class of rosé than untangling necklaces- lol. I’ve been using this jewelry organizer for years and absolutely love it. It has space for earrings, necklaces, rings, and everything you need to be perfectly accessorized on your vacation.
